Climbing is the ability to move your body up a rock face often with uneven and irregular surface features such as jugs, lay-backs and overhangs. Moving sideways (traversing) is also necessary. At the Basin there is an outdoor artificial wall with many of these features. A new indoor “Monkey” room has just been built and will be joining the activities programme soon.
